We are a training centre that apply Competency Based Modular Training Method (CBMT) to enhance human potential in acquiring Construction skills and to assist the industry and individuals to achieve their objectives. We are located in the Thorn Park area of Lusaka. It is adjacent to the fly over bridge on the Great East Road on the opposite side to ZESCO. We are found along Wamulwa Road next to the railway line.

20.6.2014 - The first EcoLusaka Open Day took place as planned on 23rd May 2014. Thorn Park staff would like to express our most sincere thanks to

- TEVETA and LBTC for their support in helping us to become a centre of excellence,
- VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland for working together with us to make Thorn Park a reference for sustainable construction in Zambia,
- the important stakeholders that have shown their interest in partnering with us,

16.4.2014 - Thorn Park Construction Training Centre has started the preparations of its first Open Day that will take place on 23rd May 2014. We would like to invite interested future students and their families, along with the industry and other important stakeholders of the Zambian construction sector, to join us on this important event and learn more about our courses and activities. We hope to see you in our Open Day!
7.3.2014 - Since July 2013, Thorn Park Construction Training Centre is taking part in EcoLusaka project funded by the Institutional Cooperation Instrument (ICI) under the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. During the project that will continue until September 2015, the Finnish partner, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, will strengthen the capacity of the Zambian partner, Thorn Park Construction Training Centre, to provide education on sustainable construction and disseminate the results for wider use in the Zambian construction sector. This collaboration is fully supported by Lusaka Business and Technical College, to which our centre is affiliated, since it is in line with its plan to develop Thorn Park into a centre of excellence.
1.3.2014 - Thorn Park Construction Training Centre is proud to officially launch its new website and logo developed with the support of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. The website will help us to provide a better service to our students and also to the industry. Welcome!
